6月份消费者物价指数（CPI）显示，整体CPI同比上涨2.7%，符合预期，而核心CPI为2.9%，略低于3%的共识，但仍高于美联储的2%目标。
缺乏更快的通货紧缩抑制了对9月份降息的预期，美联储基金期货现在定价59%的概率，略低于发布前的水平。

由于白银广泛用于电子产品、太阳能电池板和工业制造，因此对全球生产趋势高度敏感。
